MarsAoki[edit]

I'd like to overwrite some files related to Olympics, and replace them with higher quality files. For example, File:Individual Neutral Athletes at the 2024 Summer Olympics Flag.svg, the current version is absolutely a mess, and does not comply with the official file that IOC released days ago. Thank you. MarsAoki (talk) 07:21, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have added the template to the file you mentioned. Your edit count is very low, and I'd like to see more activity before granting you the flag. You can make individual requests at COM:OWR. I'm willing to keep this request open a while so your edit count can be increased. Abzeronow (talk) 16:37, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Quick1984[edit]

I hope that my contribution to checking the licensing of images is somehow useful for Wikimedia Commons community, and I'd like to acquire additional gadgets to make my work better. Thank you. Quick1984 (talk) 06:32, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

VoidWanderer[edit]

I'd like to have rights to overwrite files. I've read the guidelines, see my latest request here. Thanks. VoidWanderer (talk) 19:21, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Michael w[edit]

Please remove autopatrol per this edit after reminder and failure to respond to the reminder on talk page for two years.   — 🇺🇦Jeff G. please ping or talk to me🇺🇦 10:56, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeff G.: This is not the place to request for removal of the rights. This request should be posted at an appropriate admin board with an appropriate reason. The link you provided does not substantially add anything. I had to check around and see what's wrong with the user. It does appear that the user in question does not seem to be hearing about making deletion requests the right way, I have removed their autopatrolled flag, but please make sure such requests are posted at COM:AN instead of being put here.
At a second thought, I have reinstated their autopatroller flag. The user should perhaps be stopped from making DRs. Perhaps ask at AN. Best. Marking as  Not done. ─ Aafī (talk) 14:50, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

CrimsonCube[edit]

I routinely edit pages related to elections and parties. Having autopatrol rights would be beneficial e.g. for correcting electoral maps. Thanks. CrimsonCube (talk) 00:02, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Just 51 edits in over five years, little activity, please contribute more and come back over here. Bedivere (talk) 04:08, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

AutoWikiBrowser access[edit]

Dactylantha[edit]

I would like to apply a deletion notice in bulk to a category of images that I am appealing to be removed due to incorrect copyright status - Category:Images_from_Auckland_Museum_marked_with_cultural_permissions as per my request at Commons:Deletion_requests/Category:Images_from_Auckland_Museum_marked_with_cultural_permissions. There are ~2500 images requiring this notice as per the deletion request requirements, and OpenRefine seems untenable as a batch editing option as the reconciliation service currently has a bug that has stopped me from doing any editing to that category. Of course, if there is an alternative to AutoWikiBrowser I would be happy to hear it - anything is better than copy and pasting 2500 times! Thank you. Dactylantha (talk) 01:47, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dactylantha, you could request that job to be done on Commons:Bots/Work requests. --Achim55 (talk) 18:31, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

SamuelRiv[edit]

I regularly edit templates here and on en.wp and have on Template:Temporary Exhibition promised to deprecate the string sanitization I implemented last year. I'd like to work a script for that, and I'd like to do it myself rather than request a bot since I plan to do more work on smaller templates here. I used AWB a little on en.wp several years ago prior to permissions requirements. Thank you. SamuelRiv (talk) 18:46, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Danielt998[edit]

I would like to fix common spelling/formatting errors in English descriptions for files Thank you. Danielt998 (talk) 18:31, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Gpkp[edit]

I like to move/rename bulk files present in 'bad file names' category (for example: Category:Files from WTK with bad file names) If this task can be done in AWB, I am requesting for the access. Thank you. Gpkp (talk) 08:43, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gpkp AWB cannot move pages/files. Maybe the User:Perhelion/massrename.js script could fit your needs though? —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 15:37, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you @Mdaniels5757. --Gpkp (talk) 15:42, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gpkp You're welcome! Marking  Not done for the bot, but of course feel free to reapply in the future if you want it for something else. —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 15:47, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin Payravi[edit]

I've been a Commons contributor since 2008, and am familiar with the renaming guidelines (having done many requests myself over the years). I also run Wiki Loves Monuments in the United States; having file moving ability would be particularly helpful as I help review submissions. Thank you! ~Kevin Payravi (talk) 05:46, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pedro Henrique Batistella (Projeto Mais+)[edit]

Hi! My name is Pedro and I'm working on the Project Mais Teoria da História na Wiki. We lauched some contests here on Commons this year and will lauch more, so to improve our workflow we would like to use the Campaign mode for the Upload Wizard. That's why I'm requesting this permission, to create and configure our campaigns. I have technical experience with MediaWiki, so "how to use" probably will not be a problem. Open for questions and thanks for your help. Best regards Pedro Henrique Batistella (Projeto Mais+) (talk) 21:58, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
